Launching in the Year of the Dragon

The Asian lunar new year begins today, January 23 ~ the year of the Dragon.

I thought this would be a perfect day to launch my new travel blog that I have been dreaming of! As I prepare for my 4th trip around the world, I realized that I definitely have some insight for this! As a model, I am always interested in looking my best and scouring the globe for goddess secrets. It is a universal truth that women seek answers for the fountain of youth ... regardless of geography.

This year, the year of the dragon, is considered to be a year of luck, good fortune and change. When visiting a Chinese city you often come face to face with powerful dragons on pillars and temples everywhere. The year of the Dragon should be a reminder to all of us about our dreams and that the best time to pursue them is NOW.  Today will always be the best day to act ... take your chance and make your wishes come true!

In Chinese astrology, you are born under the influence of one of twelve animal signs depending on the year of your birth. I am a dragon. When your sign is the same as the current year, you are said to be in your "fate year".
